UK HealthCare Launches Digital Wayfinding Directly in MyChart, Powered by Gozio

Implementation addresses a persistent digital gap and ensures patients can complete the entire care journey

ATLANTA — June 16, 2026 — Gozio Health, an industry-leading location-aware mobile health platform, today announced that UK HealthCare is now live with a completely new wayfinding experience embedded in MyChart. The integration, powered by Gozio’s blue-dot wayfinding technology, improves patient experience and satisfaction while reducing late arrivals and staff interruptions.

Based in Lexington, Kentucky, UK HealthCare uses MyChart to power electronic health records and provide patients a single point for accessing their health information across its academic medical center, four hospitals, more than 80 specialized clinics and hundreds of outreach programs. By launching Gozio’s wayfinding solution for MyChart, the health system aims to further improve patient experience through guidance that takes patients from their front door to the point of care—all inside the digital ecosystem they already use to manage their health.

“Complex campuses like ours are often prone to late arrivals or missed appointments, which impacts both operational efficiency and patients’ overall perception of the entire care visit,” saidKayla Staley, Director of Digital Engagement at UK HealthCare. “Adding Gozio’s blue-dot wayfinding to MyChart gives our patients a one-stop-shop to navigate their entire care journey from booking an appointment to traveling to it.”

Gozio’s Wayfinding for MyChart is available to Epic customers and listed in Toolbox on Epic Showroom. Purpose-built for healthcare, Gozio has mapped more than 200 million square feet of hospital campuses and is live at hundreds of sites nationwide. Health systems using Gozio Wayfinding achieve:

•          32% fewer missed patient appointments on average

•          4.7/5 patient satisfaction rating across health systems

•          77% of visitors reporting higher satisfaction

“Many health systems have invested extensively in patient portals or mobile apps to give patients the ability to better search, schedule and manage their care. But if you’re not addressing the ‘last mile’ of access, you’ll inevitably lose patients in this gap,” saidJoshua Titus, CEO of Gozio Health. “Ensuring that patients can easily complete the entire journey—from appointment confirmation to the point of care—is essential when rounding out digital investments.”
