New Hanover Regional Medical Center Goes Live with Mobile Platform
The largest healthcare provider in southeastern North Carolina brings an outdoor navigation experience indoors putting all hospital system amenities and services at visitors’ fingertips.
Wilmington, N.C., (September 24, 2019) – New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) announced the launch of their mobile wayfinding platform developed by Atlanta-based Gozio Health. The hospital-branded mobile platform provides system-wide navigation guiding patients from their home to the correct parking location and within four feet of their appointment destination inside the hospital.
The platform also gives patients and visitors immediate access to physician directories, medical records via MyChart, Urgent Care wait times, and locations of cafes, pharmacies and the closest restrooms on their smartphones. The platform provides turn-by-turn navigation inside six New Hanover hospital and healthcare facilities. New Hanover is also including access to 58 off-site clinics.
