According to a recent survey most patients now want to manage their healthcare through a single platform. Another report from Guidehouse showed that patients want the same experience in healthcare that they get in other areas of their lives.
One of digital front door’s biggest Obstacles, analyzed by Sharon Hakkennes, an analyst for Gartner, in the Hype Cycle for Healthcare Providers, is: “Integration remains a significant barrier to DFD deployment. The DFD is not delivered through a single solution; data must flow freely across solutions and touchpoints to optimize the patient experience.”
