Piedmont Healthcare, VP Patient Experience
Katie’s bold leadership drives exceptional patient experience at Piedmont Healthcare. We join Katie’s team CUREiousB.I.G. to support her commitment to excellence in patient experience and promise to do the best we can to Be Intentional Givers to help find a CURE, while improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Each dollar raised counts as a vote toward recognizing Katie Logan with the Woman of the Year honor.
“My work at Piedmont allows me to make a positive difference in every life we serve,” says Katie Logan. “Nobody wants to be sick, but I’m doing my best to make healthcare the best experience possible. Living out this mission every day in my professional life is rewarding, but this opportunity is something very special. I said yes to this challenge because it’s BIG and will leave a lasting mark.”
An estimated 1.2 million people in the US are living with or in remission from myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma, or Hodgkin’s disease and someone new is diagnosed every three minutes. LLS has invested more than a billion dollars in research to find the cause and cure for blood cancers. This research has led to groundbreaking treatments – such as chemotherapy, radiation and stem cell transplantation – that are vital to treating blood cancers and many other forms of cancer. Additionally, LLS provides patient and community support services to families at no cost, public health and professional education, as well as advocating nationally and locally for legislation.
A donation in any amount toward this campaign would be greatly appreciated and go such a long way to supporting over 1 million Americans living with blood cancer.
