Patient & Staff Engagement At ViVE - What to See and Hear

Written by Lea Chatham | Mar 23, 2023 1:15:00 PM

The agenda at ViVE 2023 can be overwhelming. If you’re like us and interested in focusing on staff and patient engagement and experience topics, here’s a list of some suggested sessions and speakers to check out.

Monday

9:10: Don’t miss the first keynotes on Monday morning from 9:10 to 10:15. There are three short presentations from healthcare leaders that will set the stage for the content to come. These three sessions are on the Country Stage on the Show Floor.

10:30: Make Healthcare Easy on Me will look at how real-time technology helps patient navigate their healthcare. We certainly believe that a truly engaging mobile app can. We aren’t sure we’d call it the Kayak of healthcare. Maybe the Noah’s Ark of healthcare? Also on the Country Stage.

11:30: Digital First Live and Let Die sounds like it will tackle a bit of the intersection between patient and staff facing digital transformation as a “panel of digital leaders to discuss how they are responding to tech disruptors and leveraging technology to align with strategic priorities, while also dealing with internal struggles brought on by growing workforce shortages.” You can find this event on the Hip Hop Stage on the Show Floor.

Grab some lunch and consider stopping to see the Film Screening & Discussion: I Am Not Your Hero at 12:30 in Room 104AB, Level 1, MCC.

At 1:45 stop at the Country stage for the headliner session, An Evolving Workforce Calls for an Evolved Culture. You’ve probably heard the adage no money, no mission. You can now add no staff, no patients. If you want to improve patient experience, you need to improve staff experience.

3:15: The CHIME panel, Bringing Together a Frictionless Care Community, will look at some of the digital solutions that are helping to streamline the care experience.

4:15: Follow up that panel with this chat about Seeing Consumer Preferences Clearly Now. “The variables to achieving a consumer-centric ethos are ever-shifting. Today’s recipe for success requires convergence of technology, data, people, and process to fulfill the ultimate goal of helping patients overcome constraints to healing and wellness. Creating a consumer-centric ethos falls to every organizational team member.” If this is a topic that interests you, check out this guide that shares tips from healthcare marketing executives on how to engage your community in your digital strategy.

At 5:00 PM it’s time for the Show Floor Reception (Show Floor, Lvl 3, MCC). Be sure to stop by and talk to the Gozio team at booth 2238 about how mobile improves the experience for patients and staff.

Tuesday

9:00 - 10:05: Another great group of headliner session on the Country Stage on the show floor. Grab a coffee and sit in on Enabling the 21st Century Health Care System, Streamlining the Digital Health Revolution, and Mission Drives Margin - Lessons of Healthcare Delivery at Scale.

At 10:30 go to the CHIME panel, I Need New Skills, Right Now. One of our favorite people, Aaron Miri, CIO at Baptist Health, is part of the group talking about how the CIO role is changing and what you need to know now to be successful. Join at the Classics Stage, Show Floor.

Grab some lunch then hit the show floor. If you still haven’t made it by to see the Gozio platform in action, be sure to stop at booth 2238.

3:15 brings the panel, Building Up the Nursing Workforce, at the Classics Stage, Show Floor. Peter Marks, CIO at WakeMed is on this panel. WakeMed is well-known for this digital innovation. He’ll touch on how IT solutions may be able to help with improving nurse staffing and experience.

Wrap up your ViVE experience at the Wild Horse Saloon for the Industry Night Reception with a performance by the Black Crowes!
